PEACE Ranch provides equine assisted learning programs in a small group format. These programs offer an experiential approach for a broad range of ages and issues. Each group is conducted by a licensed therapist, an equine specialist and horses.
Groups meet once a week for two hour sessions combining check in, equine assisted activities, wrap up, and therapeutic journaling. Cost is dependent on group size.
All programs are:

PEACE Kids
A 4 week, intensive equine assisted learning program for children 4-12 with Autism Spectrum and related disorders. PEACE Kids effective in producing positive change for kids in social interaction, behavioral challenges and sensory integration. In addition, parents report developmental achievements outside the program like getting dressed independently, riding a bike and making friends. Gallop
An 8 week equine assisted education program for teenage girls with trauma based issues. Gallop helps girls to communicate more openly, connect with others, set clear boundaries and develop self management, self empowerment and self confidence. For more information contact PEACE Ranch.

Hug & Groom
A weekly opportunity offered year round for all ages to interact with horses in a therapeutic environment. Hug & Groom has a "walk-in clinic" feel, open, non judgemental and free of charge. Participants are paired with volunteers to care for horses and in farm maintainance tasks. For more information about Hug and Groom contact PEACE Ranch.
Moms and Horses

An 8 week EAL program for single mothers to help grown in solid parenting and life skills by increasing their ability to follow through, set boundaries, communicate clearly, and by decreasing feelings of isolation. Single Momms, and Pregnancy Care Center are community partners for this program. For more information contact PEACE Ranch.

Strides
A 6 week equine assisted edcuation support program for for parents of children who have been victims of sexual crimes. Parents are encouraged in a non judgemental environment to explore difficult issues with the support of other parents who are walking a similar path. This reduces the feelings of isolation, strengthens possitive coping skills and problem solving. For more information contact PEACE Ranch.
