PEACE Ranch is a faith based equine assisted therapy center committed to the restoration and transformation of people struggling with psychological, emotional and physical challenges. We use rescued and unwanted horses that have been rehabilitated through natural, relationship based training for use in therapy and educational programs. Services are provided for anyone seeking a non-traditional and experiential approach to counseling, therapy or education which involves hands-on activities with horses.

As a community organization, PEACE Ranch volunteers are involved in all levels of the organization and opportunities exist for all ages.  Volunteer opportunities include (but are not limited to): involvement in therapy programs, equine rehabilitation, community garden, grounds upkeep, administration and on the board and executive committee.  PEACE Ranch uniquely combines structured programming and volunteer opportunities to create a therapeutic enviroment condusive to help, hope and healing for all involved.

PEACE Ranch also offers a broad range of educational opportunities including college internships, basic equine behavior classes, and experiential equine assisted education programs.  Training for volunteers, professionals, and students of all ages can be found at PEACE Ranch.

Professional:  PEACE Ranch offers the highest quality equine assisted therapy services by licensed, experienced professionals and trained volunteers at a reasonable cost. Our professional team members are certified by reputable equine therapy organizations such as EAGALA,  the American Hippotherapy Association and Path International.

Equine Assisted:  All our services are a collaborative effort between a licensed therapist, equine specialist or certified instructor and a horse working together with clients to address their treatment goals. Our vision of collaboration extends to the community as we work with educational, municipal, and human service organizations to better serve our community.

Counseling & Education:  PEACE Ranch provides a unique approach to therapy through hands-on activities with horses for emotional growth and learning. This is a powerful and effective therapeutic approach suitable to address a variety of mental health and human development needs and is considered a short-term approach because of its intensity and effectiveness.
