Peace Ranch has several classes and events throughout the year, including Herd Meditation, Spring & Fall Farm Days, Natural Horsemanship Classes, and the Peace Ranch 5K/10K Wilderness Run. We hope you can join us on the ranch!

What: Join us for a family-friendly Volunteer Day at Peace Ranch, lunch will be provided for all our volunteers.
Help us with our spring cleaning as we prepare for a very busy season ahead! Projects may include:
Getting the chicken coop and mini pens ready for summer
Light construction and ranch projects
Rock pickup in the pastures
And plenty more ways to lend a hand

Who: Anyone who’s interested in helping out, spending time at the ranch, or learning more about Peace Ranch is welcome!

When: June 7, 2026 from 10 am - 3 pm
What: Let’s Grow Together at PEACE Ranch! Join us at PEACE Ranch as we plant our 2026 Community Garden—a joyful, hands-in-the-dirt day filled with fresh air, new friendships, and meaningful purpose.
We’ll be bringing the Ezekiel Memorial Garden to life for spring by preparing beds and planting vegetable and flower seeds in our garden boxes. Whether you can lend a hand for an hour or stay for the whole event, every bit of help makes a difference!
This is a fun, welcoming volunteer opportunity for individuals, families, and groups of all ages—no gardening experience needed, just a willingness to dig in and have fun.
Bring garden gloves and favorite tools if you have them.
Come as you are, leave knowing you helped something beautiful grow.
Let’s plant seeds, build community, and grow something great—together.

The 5K is unlike any other, winding along hard-packed sand roads through the beautiful Pere Marquette Forest. Our 10K has become a favorite among trail runners statewide, known for its challenging topography and peaceful surroundings. Both runs are proudly supported by the Traverse City Track Club.
Our family-friendly space is perfect for relaxing, cheering, and connecting during and after the race, with a medal ceremony following the finish.
All registered participants will receive a race t-shirt, official timed results, and post-race refreshments. Plaques will be awarded to the top three male and female runners, and their names will be added to the Annual Race Plaque at Peace Ranch. Every participant will also receive the signature Peace Race Lucky Horseshoe Medal. Ranch tours will be available after the event.
